I love really good ideas, bonfires, tea, art, color, pretty paper, great shoes, having a CLEAN house, being around those who mean the most to me, colorful, bright rooms, being poolside ALL SUMMER, staying in my jammies all day when it's freezing cold outside, fresh snow, and coming up with new ideas for design. Happy Monday
I had a fabulous weekend starting with a mini-reunion from High School (Seton Academy Class of 1994). It was a great evening filled with fond memories and many laughs! I enjoyed seeing the women who were my son's age when we graduated. So awesome.
Saturday was a great day. Arielle and he dance class performed at the Orland Hills 50th Anniversary Fest. She did great! That night, we sat on the grass and watched the amazing fireworks display and laser light show!
Sunday couldn't have been better. My Arielle's Beach Party Day!
I woke up to bright sunshine and it stayed that way all day! Great turn out and amazing weather added to great family and friends...can't get much better that that!
The kids painted with shaving cream and created their very own artwork. They loved it! Getting messy and creating! The pinata was gianormous! Arielle picked it out–colorful and with peace signs! It didn't last very long! Too heavy and overloaded with candy and trinkets! Arielle was the first to hit and she was just beaming!
I will post pics soon.
Today I begin to blog again.
Great feeling.
3 days to work, then 6 off. Looking forward to a fun mini vacation!

A new day
I swore I was going to keep this blog up. ughhh...it's been a few months.
I'm back. It's Tuesday, the sun is shining. Great day. Tomorrow is my Friday this week...yay!
My husband's birthday is Friday...35. wow. We are getting old. Hard to believe we have been together for almost 19 years. I received a text from my niece this morning reminding me that in exactly 2 months from today, it will be her 19th birthday. And in 2 months from tomorrow, my baby boy will be sweet 16. unreal. 16. . . 16?! Can't we just press the rewind button and pause life for a while?! My mom's 61st birthday is tomorrow and my dad's birthday was yesterday...shared with my friend Dawn. March is crazy crazy.

Happy New Year
So I stepped away from blogging for a while (like 6 months while) but promised myself to get back into it...at least once a week. =/Happy Monday. This past weekend was nice, dinner, visiting family, movies and cuddles...
Colder than cold but it was a nice "indoor activity" weekend. I have to post new pics of my gianormous beast of a puppy and some new ones of the kids... Be back soon...

Beach Bums
I'm seriously considering this career change---to become a beach bum!
Today we were at the beach all day! WE went to a hotel and had a few poolside drinks, joined in on a few pool activities and back to the beach.We shopped some more, dinner and more shopping. LOL. We did have a wine tasting today...bought a few bottles for home. great winery, yummy wine!
Fun day. I am super duper tired. The most exciting part of the day was seeing a baby shark that was caught near where we were swimming!!!! Mel was bit by a crab, thats as bad as Lisa, Dee and David swimming into a stingray!!!!!!! CrAzY!!!!! Fun day. I'm tired so this is going to be short. Nite nite. Tomorrow is the last "full day". Beach again. Can't get enough.
